for more information, you can visit their website : http://bdjbox.com/

For September Box the theme is "BEAUTY INNOVATIONS"

Order depends on how I saw the products. Here we go..

COST : 134 each x 2 = 268

First that I saw is this full size Creamsilk Daily Treatment Conditioner bottle for 180 ml. I must say that this product is one of the MOST used conditioner here in the Philippines. I mean I've spent more than 20 years of my life using this product everyday till I knew Watson's and all their great deals. hehe.. ANYWAYS, I got two of those. The pink is for STANDOUT STRAIGHT and green for HAIR FALL DEFENSE.

Cost : P 390.00

Second is Beach Hut Clear Spray for 180 ml. Now this is my favorite! I will definitely use this every single time I got outside. Even if summer is already over, I know that everyone should still use it. So HOORAAAY for this!

COST :  P 60.00

Third is the Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Facial Wash samples and Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Toner for 60 ml. I haven’t used any Godiva products ever but I do heard a lot of good stuff about it. Since I’m on a search for a toner, I hope this will be it.

COST : P 88.00 - Jergen’s Ultra Healing Lotion, 100 ml
COST : P 153.00 - Jergen’s Daily Moisture for 200 ml.

Fourth is Jergen’s Ultra Healing Lotion, 100 ml and Jergen’s Daily Moisture for 200 ml.
I don’t like using lotion because of the sticky feeling it gives to the body. Specially here in the Philippines where almost all year round its HOT and even if its raining, lotion still doesn't feel good. Still good cause my mom uses lotion regularly.

COST : P 150 X 2 = P 300.00

Fifth is the Pond's Dewy Rose Gel, 10g each i remember back then (highschool years) I tried using Pond's products but I guess something in the ingredients causes allergies so I stopped. That was like 5 or 6 years ago. I’m still undecided if I’ll try Ponds again.

COST : P 75.00 X 2 = P150.00

Sixth is Dove Intense Repair Daily Hair Vitamin, 6ml x 6 capsules.Correct me if I’m wrong but, this is a new product right? I will be using this and who knows! Maybe I’ll discover a new treatment to my crowning glory <3

COST : P 299.00

Seventh is Fanny Serrano Gel Liner, 5 ml. Another product that I've never tried using before. I remember back then I tried the liquid liner and it a TOTAL DISASTER. Haha! Another new product to test. Wish me luck in using this!

Inside it looks like this. hehe

COST : P 150.00

Last is Fanny Serrano Single Eye Shadow, 4g. Some of the unboxing I’ve seen has brown shade and I’m hoping for the same, but, I got Citrine Sunshine.

As of the moment I don’t see myself using this color on me. Specially its already rainy, so more appropriate colors would be dark.. I think..

Also included in the box is a coupon for PAC FREE MAKE OVER Coupon worth P 1500.00 at any PAC counter.

Honestly, i don't have a clue of how this works. -.- I've always thought you just have to buy something then they will give you a make over for free. Guess I have to google it :)

All in all the cost of products in this box is : P 1858.00 excluding the sample and coupon :)

Is it worth it? YES DEFINITELY!

I’m really happy with the contents of the box. I must admit that not all can be used by me but I’ll be happy to give this to my mom and aunt.
And the best thing about this box is...

this is a gift from my brother! haha! thanks kuyaa!!! :) <3 <3 <3

KATE : Mineral Loose Foundation

"You have to invest on the products that you put on your face"

Pretty much my one of the TWO reasons why I convinced myself to buy it.

Hi gals! Today we will be talking about Mineral Loose Foundation from KATE. This is one of the two products that I bought to join their contest.

Packaging : Product comes in a plastic container. Transparent bottom with color white lid. Although its plastic, it feels sturdy yet still compact. The prints are all in black. There are also letters at the bottom but the only thing I can actually read is Kanebo and Made in Japan. The rest is in Japanese language. Compact so I can bring it anywhere I have to go. Product also comes with a very soft sponge.

Smell : Doesn’t really have any specific smell. Uhm.. best way to describe is that it smells like Johnson and Johnson’s baby powder, but, a little lighter.

Coverage : This mineral Foundation provides a buildable coverage. One layer would produce a light to medium and two layers would result to full coverage.  Also, it gives me a very matte finish look.

Longevity : I have super oily face and this baby seals whatever I put under it lasts for a very long time. Maximum of 4 hours. I know at some it may not be that long, but considering the weather and the activities and oiliness of my face, this is really long.

One thing that I love about loose foundations is that they provide coverage without making my face look “too much” for everyday casual look. Also, it doesn't give any heavy feeling even if it’s in your face for a long time.

I have very high expectations for this product mainly because of its price. I know it may not be as expensive as the others think, but, for me IT IS. I mean seriously, 6 months ago if you told me that I’ll be spending a thousand for a loose foundation, I would never believe you.

Happily this product lived up to my expectations!

GOOD POINTS
  • Compact.
  • A soft sponge is included. A sponge that I can actually use everytime and not like the others that tends to get rough after 2 or 3 times usage
  • No weird smell
  • Coverage is buildable
  • Suits my NO MAKE UP – MAKE UP everyday look
  • Doesn’t feel heavy even if I retouch

BAD POINTS
  • Expensive for mwua!

REPURCHASE?  Maybe .. 60% yes and 40 % No

Why? I kinda wanted to try alternatives in case I couldn’t really afford it. Hehe.

RATINGS : 4.5 STARS

Here is my face with KATE Mineral Loose Foundation :)

hope this entry helps :)

ZEN ZEST : Tea Tree Oil – my pimple story.

A month ago, for some reason, pimples started coming out! Ugh! I’m 23 and I still got pimples. WHYYYY?? I thought at twenties I won’t get any of those evil and oh so painful acnes. CLEARLY, I was wrong >.<

I don’t have a picture of me on that stage cause I just hate taking pictures of my face when I’m on my breakouts. Apologies my loves L

I started using alternatives, searching the net for whatever that can help me get rid of these pimples. Times like this, its not even the ugliness (of my face with HUGE pimples) that bothers me, it’s the pain that makes it unbearable. Also, just so we are clear, IM NOT OPEN for Facial Treatment where they have to poke it out then squeeze the devils of my face to make it better. NO NO NO! too painful!
For some reason my holy grail unknown soap isn’t doing what its suppose to do. It just stopped being HOLY. >.<

So, to cut out this story of mine, I decided to try TEA TREE OIL.

At first I decided to buy Tea Tree from The Body Shop but I’m a little low in budget so…
TADAAAA!

Packaging : ZENZEST Tea Tree 15 ml product comes in glass bottle. Dark brown colored bottle and a black cap. Opening the cap, it has this plastic stopper thingy that is designed to stop product from continuously pouring out. I find it helpful especially when it slips and fell on the floor (YES IT HAPPENS. At least to me). My problem about the bottle is that I’m too clumsy I know if I bring it somewhere, it might break >.<

Smell : This product smelled weird. Smelled like the products my mom and dad would put on their aching parts of the body. Hehe. Anyways, its not that bad. At times I find it minty and weird. Again, apologies cause this is actually my first Tea Tree oil and I honestly have no idea what tea tree should smell like

HOW TO APPLY?

After cleansing my face, I put ZENZEST Tea tree on infected areas ONLY. Then moisturize my whole face.

Before using this product on my face, I popped those face demons first. Then, my favorite unknown soap. Then….. I put a dab of TEA TREE on the infected parts of my face.

I used this product in a week. Every night before sleeping, I see to it that ample amounts were there.   Results were seen after just a day! GREAT! After a day of two I was able to see that the little holes are starting to close. It all seems very “bearable” afterwards.

**I may not be able to give you exactly what I mean but, I can assure you it helps my skin to heal faster! I don’t have to use it for a whole week cause I see that its all finally healed up, but, for caution, I did anyways.
I also used this product on my back acne and its great! Again after a day or two, GOODBYE BACK ACNE!

Although this product helps a lot on the healing process, it doesn't really lived up to the “blemish free skin” that I read on its label, BUT, all in all, I'M STILL HAPPY WITH IT

GOOD POINTS

  • Affordable. Only costs me P150.00
  • Helped on the healing process
  • Says on the label that you can use it for massage.
  • Effective on my face and back (hehe)

BAD POINTS

  • Doesn't lived up to the “blemish free skin”

REPURCHASE : YES!

If those face demons resurface, then I’ll still buy this to help my skin. Although I do know this will be LATER rather than SOONER because after so much usage, the bottle still contains more than half.

RATINGS : 4 STARS

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub

Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot ScrubPrevents Blemishes & minimizes pores. Oil Free Salicylic Acne Medication

For some time now I know that Salicylic is a very good ingredient in battling acne. So whenever I buy products, i see to it that it has this ingredient.

Also, I wanted to apologize for being late in reviewing this product. I was out of town with the folks and the place where we had been has no reception. I mean seriously! You cant connect to the internet in there. >.<

alrighty.. ON with the PRODUCT :

Why did I bought St Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub?

The time I bought this product, I really don’t have any breakouts, but, I thought it would be handy whenever I got one. (hope not!) Second, its on SALE! And lastly, it’s really alluring and new to my eyes. Says on the package that Sulfate and Paraben FREE, prevents blemishes and Minimizes pores. It just seems so legit.

it is really just something that caught my eye. :P

Packaging :

The product comes in a plastic large tube. Nothing really special about the packaging. Very simple yet looks so neat. I like it!

Product :

First thing I noticed is the smell. It really smells so good. Like apricot! Haha. It is a white cream that have micro beads. Never did I realize that this product has SO MUCH beads on it! This makes me a little bit nervous cause I don’t really want any beads on my face. Beads on my face feels so harsh. After a thought or two, I finally had the courage to use it.

Usage :

After the 1st leap, I use it every night before sleeping. Cleanse my face and leave it for about 2 minutes. I’m really impressed on how this product makes my face soft. I mean seriously! J I end up touching my face for a minute or two afterwards. (which is so weird to look at) haha! J
I’ve been using this product every night for the past 3 weeks and its great! I don’t know with you guys but I always get this “bungang-araw” like pimples on my forehead (which sucks!). On the weeks of using this product, I noticed that these face demons disappear! Yeey! Beside the goods of this product, I noticed that redness on some parts of my face, especially on my T zone area. Anyways it all goes away after 5-10 minutes.

GOOD POINTS
  • Affordable
  • Make my face feels Ohh So SOFT
  • Makes most of my little face demons go away (slowly)

BAD POINTS
  • I experience redness every after wash
  • Too many beads (in my opinion) and felt kinda harsh

REPURCHASE?  YES!

Will be repurchasing this if ever I have acnes or the little face demons reappear.

RATINGS : 4 STARS

Hope this entry helps!

PERSONAL THOUGHTS and EXPERIENCE on ELF Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20

Horaay! Another Product review:

 Price : 249.00
Today I will be sharing thoughts on ELF Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 with Aloe, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C and E , 25 ml

Packaging

Product comes in a black small plastic tube with white writing at front. Also, there is a transparent part near the cap wherein you can see the shade. Ingredients and other information about the product Is only seen in the box. Again, nothing special about its packaging, but, I do like that it is black and black is JUST my thing <3

Product

This moisturizer’s texture is liquidy. TOO liquidy for me. It smells like talc with mint. Personally, I don’t like the smell, good thing its not really strong.
Longevity and Coverage :
Coverage is VERY LIGHT. Acceptable since it’s a moisturizer and NOT a concealer. I tried applying in layers but the coverage doesn't really change.

Experience

First thing that I noticed is the smell and I’m not happy about it. When I pour it out, it slid on my hand. Ugh! It is not a good first impression. After a day or two, I decided to give it another try, I put it on along with the other products that I use on my face (concealer and foundation) then go out.

When I came back, I noticed that my face is DARKER than it really is. This is the first time that it happened. So the next day I didn’t use it and my face when I came home is normal. Not DARKER. Then tinted moisturizer and my face is darker again. This went on for a week. I wanted it to be longer so I can give you a little more of what to expect , but I can no longer bear it. Yea. Sorry.

Good Points
  • Affordable – considering the price and the amount of product

Bad points

  • Smells a little bit off.
  • Liquidy
  • I asked one of my friend why my face gets darker and she told me maybe because I’m acidic. And upon researching, (more like googling) one of the reason why face tends to look darker is because the product used is not “acidic-friendly”

    RATINGS : 2 STARS
REPURCHASE : NO

I already have my fave moisturizer, I was just intrigued when I saw this product but then it doesn't really turn out great.

DISCLAIMER : I’m not saying that this product is BAD or crappy or whatsoever. I’m simply stating my thoughts and PERSONAL experience with it. Every person’s skin/face is different and what works for me may NOT work for you. Vice versa.

Hope this entry helps :)
